I think sex rehab and the ability to be rehabilitated is a real thing. However, the question I have is that if he thinks he is a sex addict why would he go to sex rehab after he is caught on a website for consenting adults but not when he was caught raping kids?

Most of the time that person has to want to be saved and be truly sorry for what they have done wrong in order to be saved.  I don't get that repentant type of attitude in this case.  I think he does feel ashamed hence the rehab sesh.  Who knows though

My post doesn't say that in any way.  If you need to hear my opinion on the matter then here goes. 

 Every story I've ever been told, read about, or watched on TV in regards to priest misconduct turns my stomach.  I have been furious about how the church handled it.  Contemplated leaving the church but I still believe in what Jesus taught.  The leaders of the church have mumped up but the teachings that the church are founded on are still valid.  Which is why I am still practicing my faith.  I can explain my views further if you have more questions but that pretty much sums it up.
