That’s $12.5 million, guaranteed, whether he coaches one game, one year or all five seasons. The only way Weis would be owed less would be if he were fired for cause.

According to KU athletic director Sheahon Zenger, such a contract is the price you pay for hiring a high-profile coach and is common throughout athletics. If anything, it further condemns the fact that the previous administration offered Gill a similar deal despite being an unproven head coach with a losing record.

--Weis works really, really hard.  Goes to work at 4:30 in the morning, works till 1am.    Read:  When CW treats ku like his country club membership, ku fans will get really pissed.
--CW currently doing recruiting visits to top QB prospect in the country, as well as top WR prospect nationally.  Read:  CW is building a monster!

Does not jive with everything he's been saying in interviews.  He prefers college because he doesn't have to work as hard and can spend more time with family...that he left in FL.

He was talking up the Parmalee kid a lot and saying that KU stole him from Northern Illinois just by signing Weis.  Northern Illinois..  Stole him  

He has already changed the face and shape of KU FB

I honestly can't believe how much they have built up this hire.  They are treating Weis and every decision he makes as if they hired Bob Stoops or Les Miles.  Retards.
