honestly, eff those media guys. who could KU have hired that was better? Dykes would have probably taken the job but I don't think he would have been any better. At least with weis they have a shot at something good.

If KU had Boones or the Horns type deep pockets but they don't. Maybe he will coach for a half million with a ton of incentive bonuses, he is arrogant enough to think he is magically going to immediately right the ship.

or he could cripple their program even more. Auburn's OC would have been better imo. The name is legit no doubt, if he can get a decent qb transfer/recruit they will compete in 2 years. I'm afraid he will be gone by then though.

Pretty typical of the lazy media types to take cheap shots at a program they know nothing about (it's obviously beneath them to do a little research on facilities, recruiting, etc). Weis' persona as a guy who calls them on their bullshit only aggravates their twitter butthurt.

This is a great gig for Weiss, he can spend a couple of years goofin with offense, lose a lot of games and get a big fat payday to match his ass, also they have that extra large shitter already, with all the amenities( towels and shower) in place.
