I'm hearing that Malzahn is still an option.  Would take.

how bout Fedora?

Ummm... It's Patterson?

 :sdeek:

"It's Harbaugh" cancels out "It's Patterson"

You can't use it every coaching search.  We have rules.

There never was an "It's Harbaugh."

KU's down to three candidates and we'll know who the next coach is within 48 hours.

On a scale of 1-10, how much is it beginning to look like Christmas?

If we end up with Malzahn, I'll be ecstatic.

KU was 106th in total offense this year averaging 326.83 per game.  Auburn was tied for 104th averaging 328.17 yards per game.   So this is  a clear upgrade brillant move by the zinger.

Nolan is a total badass.  Best athlete to ever come out of western Kansas.  Ever.

Would be like us hiring Rolando Blackman to coach our basketball team.

Probably a really bad hire, but if he wins it would be glorious for them.

Malzahn is like Ed Manning.  Was coaching high school five years ago and rode his star QB to an assistant job at Arkansas where he failed.

Since we have so many Arkies around, maybe they can chime in on what a horrible hire this will be.

Worse than Nolan.

What's that, Barry?  Did someone post something on Twitter?

 :flush:

Check out the Arizona State situation with June Jones right now if you want to see a poorly executed coaching search.  Zenger is doing this the right way... keeping things quiet and handling the search in a professional manner.  Malzahn is in the mix as well as Paul Chryst.  I think there's probably also one or two more guys that are completely off of the radar right now.  We'll find out in a day or two hopefully.

Agreed. To get these things right you have to find an AD with the right background and pedigree.

Looks like the replacement will be Leach, Leavitt, or Mark Stoops.  It's a great day to be a Jayhawk!  Rock chalk!

Cromwell was a badass though.  Put a beatdown on a monarchy for fucks sake.  He was a Puritan as well, so he would have had good luck retaining Gill's players.
