Nolan is a total badass.  Best athlete to ever come out of western Kansas.  Ever.  

Would be like us hiring Rolando Blackman to coach our basketball team.

Probably a really bad hire, but if he wins it would be glorious for them.

Malzahn is like Ed Manning.  Was coaching high school five years ago and rode his star QB to an assistant job at Arkansas where he failed.

Since we have so many Arkies around, maybe they can chime in on what a horrible hire this will be.

Worse than Nolan.

Check out the Arizona State situation with June Jones right now if you want to see a poorly executed coaching search.  Zenger is doing this the right way... keeping things quiet and handling the search in a professional manner.  Malzahn is in the mix as well as Paul Chryst.  I think there's probably also one or two more guys that are completely off of the radar right now.  We'll find out in a day or two hopefully.
