Wazzu is probably the worst BCS job out there. Area is awesome if you like to hunt or fish or join radical conservative militia type groups.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Leach spend like a rough ridin' decade in Lubbock? Have you been to Lubbock? Pullman which is waaay better than Lubbock which, granted, isn't saying much.

Lubbock really sucks. But it is in Texas, which has tons of football talent. The fans in the area live and breath football. Plus, Tech alums (west Texas oilmen) are happy to crap money to their university in an effort to stick it to UT and aTm. This is a place that believes that Meat's Judging is a sport and they give the scholarships and aid and build facilities as if it were - all to tell aTm that they suck ballz.
Pullman is more isolated than Lubbock. It is a freakin' small town built around a university that is essentially in a prairie that is more like a desert (think Eastern Colorado 50 miles west of the Kansas border but worse). There is no real population base. There isn't the avid football factory of high school sports there (well, it is near Cali, but this isn't a charming city nestled in right at the Rockies like Boise to appeal to kids - instead, it is more like Garden City, Kansas, and if you want to have fun you have a road trip to Moscow, Idaho - the Liberal, Kansas of the region = Good f'n times

Oh, and don't forget the f'n snow in the winter.
