Yeah it's good for KU's QB situation. You had to assume Weis would get a decent QB to go to KU. It's the rest of the team you kind of wonder about. Heaps is potentially a much better pick up then Christ IMO. Christ just wont' be around long enough to accomplish anything also I've seen him play and he's not that good. Never seem Heaps play but I assume he's better then Christ.

I think he is just referring to scouting report coming out of high school. At least I hope that is what he is referring to. Crist was a 5 star out of high school. I don't think any other QBs in the Big 12 next year were higher than 4 (Bell). That being said, if we are looking at what they have accomplished in college, I would take Klein, Bell, Pachall (TCU) and Smith (WVU) before Crist. Maybe even Doege. Who knows what Oklahoma State and Baylor will have next year.

Baylors backup looked pretty good that game RGIII was concussed. Probably didnt hurt that he was throwing to kendall wright.

Do either of them play Defensive End? They are short on running backs to play the position . 06 team was far from shitty...doesn't get much better than Jordy and Yamon at receiver. D was weak but had talent just bad coaching

Neither one of them gives a crap about winning. They are transferring in a desperate attempt to get into a system where they will air it out and maybe get a NFL look. Crist has no shot, Heaps might.

Crist and Heaps will both amount to nothing at KU. KU will go 3-9 this year including a loss to UNI, 4-8 next year, and maybe 5-7 the year after taht. And then its all downhill from there. Weis has no ability to coach, just recruit, and if that couldn't win at NOTRE DAME, it won't win at KU. They're the bottom of the Big 12, and will be for a long time.

Like Weis is the only coach in college football with ties to the NFL? He was never even a head coach in the NFL and the college ranks are filled with former NFL head coaches. KU fans right now remind me of NU fans when they hired Bill Callahan and I expect this to end just as badly.
