any ku fan calling for gill's head doesn't have a solid understanding of what is going on. the guy has only had two years and he's playing in a league where according to sagarin, 5 out of the 9 teams he has to play are top 11 in the country. they fire him now and they are starting a 90's-2000's bayloresque trend that will continue for a minimum of ten more years and likely longer. sticking with gill for at least another year or two is their best option.
Yeah, you guys really tanked after firing Ron Prince.

please tell me you aren't comparing the two situations.
that would be like someone saying that person (a) jumped off a building from the first story and lived so person (b) should be able to jump off the same building and live, even when they know that person (b) is planning to jump from the 15th story.
How are the situations any different?
1) kstate gave prince three years. not two like ku people are suggesting doing w/ turner. two years is not enough. just look at snyder's second go around as a good, recent, local example. kstate didn't go to a bowl the first year, almost missed a bowl the second year and are currently 8-2 and are top15 in bcs rankings in the third year. firing a coach after two is beyond Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). college fball takes a while to turn around a team.
2) kstate had a coach that had previously won the big12 in fball and had been in the area coaching and recruiting for twenty years lined up as their head coach when they fired prince. ku does not have this. unless you know something different than what i know. in which case, feel free to share and let's break the news today.
