If everyone on Baylor played for KU and everyone for KU played on Baylor then KU would win by 1.

KU was the better team yesterday.

Baylor is better.  Big whoop

If KU has Robert Griffin III instead of Jordan Webb, we win yesterday by 40+.

Who is playing QB for Baylor in that scenario?

Not sure... just pointing out that KU isn't that far from being good.  Just need a QB and some good coaching.

you're right, beems. turner's got that team right where he wants it. just another season or two is all he needs.

What do you think the best caption of this photo is?

Realistically I think he was telling his boys to "Play the game of football" or "BELIEVE TO ACHIEVE!" or some such nonsense.

any ku fan calling for gill's head doesn't have a solid understanding of what is going on. the guy has only had two years and he's playing in a league where according to sagarin, 5 out of the 9 teams he has to play are top 11 in the country. they fire him now and they are starting a 90's-2000's bayloresque trend that will continue for a minimum of ten more years and likely longer. sticking with gill for at least another year or two is their best option.

Depends on how you define "better team." If you don't do it by score then you might be right.

Exactly love the attitude. Your the one who always points out the recruiting rankings, and it is obvious Gill is building a monster compared to us based on those rankings. KU has been the best team on the field 8 times this season. If Klein can be a relative unknown and have success imagine all these big time guys KU is bringing in that you always point out. Give him time thats all he needs!  :bait:

Classic over-reaction to a true statement.  As a KU fan, I've seen good teams lose to inferior teams time and time again.  See: Bucknell, Bradley, VCU, etc.

bmw, i think you are forgetting the fact that ku's is now 0-7 this year in the big 12. while they may have played nicely vs baylor, they've lost in many ways this year. when you are 0-7, you can't pin it on a single position. KU is just poor throughout.

please tell me you aren't comparing the two situations.

that would be like someone saying that person (a) jumped off a building from the first story and lived so person (b) should be able to jump off the same building and live, even when they know that person (b) is planning to jump from the 15th story.

Take Reesing off of that 12-1 Orange Bowl team and what is their record?  QB makes a huge difference...

KU 2007 was solid throughout the roster. That defense was tough.

What if Webb just had RGIII's arm but his brain and legs were the same. Would KU have won? Only time will tell.

I don't think you realize that KU was Robert Griffin's second choice behind Houston.  Then Briles got hired at Baylor and Griffin came with him.

Wrong, it takes at least two weeks to recover from arm transplant surgery so he wouldn't have even played.

What if Art Briles had gone to KU and taken RGIII with him, and Baylor was coaching with Lynn "Pappy" Waldorf?  Then would KU have won?  Fire up the time machine and let's find out.
