seems like a good OU disaster update thread.

personally, i think that's good for ou.  hell, he may have been kicked out.

if capel can get gallon and warren back, they could be a good team.  and sign a decent defensive juco big.

Yeah, I thought TMG was the good guy and WW was the bad guy.  Maybe I've gotten them confused.  :dunno:

maybe.  who knows?

i just think that warren was part of a really good team.  and other than rough ridin' the ugly pg's gf, seemed to do fine on that team.  and then tmg came along and the team sucked complete ass while tmg sat out front and never played defense and monopolized the ball despite sharing the court with some really talented offensive players.  plus warren was hurt/sick.  so, looking at it from the outside, i'd blame tmg over warren.

plus i hate that little eff.

I'll blame Capel.  He's as bad at coaching as he is at looking good.

I've taken a hard Capel hate stance the last month or so.

I don't hate Capel.

But this season for him is probably what everyone expected to happen to Frank after Beasley, but instead of his team imploding, Frank's team got better.  And Capel was the hot hire with the pedigree to be succussful.  I just think its funny.

Absolutely no way that Warren is on the squad next year, whether he leaves or he isn't welcomed back.  I know some insidery types, and Willie showed up to several practices wearing street clothes and told the coaching staff that he didn't need to practice.

Don’t look for guard deluxe Willie Warren to be back at Oklahoma. He’s been told he does not have a scholarship.

Griffin is expected back today and is still very much a part of the team. He is supposed to meet with Capel later on this week.

More like Jeff InCapelble amirite?

It's getting good down here.

Tiny is done

Warren is done

TMG is done

a sophomore guard named Ray Willis is gone

grumblings that freshman Andrew Fitzgerald is gone, also.

Also, grumblings from Dean Blevins (the best in the biz) that Capel is on extremely thin ice (obviously, look at that list)

Think about this for a second.  Their best returning player next year is Cade Davis.

What a disaster.  So, do transfer rules apply when a player has been kicked off a team?

where did you hear that fitz is leaving (or being kicked out, whatever)?  that's new to me.

i think gallon probably returns, unless something additional comes out.
