It's fantastic marketing by the company. They have a new school every week, pay a bunch of podcasters from that school to push the product, and carpet bomb social media. They complete this by pushing sales competitions between the schools, it's actually pretty genius.

That being said, they do produce some cool ass shirts, but they're expensive.

The shirts are a quality material and they put some nice designs together, but as MIR said it really will be about whether they can put out better stuff than the retro designs already available. I bought in to the hype and snagged a hoodie and a couple other tees I liked last year and they are holding up pretty nicely. I'm probably in for 2-3 shirts and a hoodie.
