That's the marketing, my dude. I brought multiple shirts for me and my wife, and it's probably because I got swept up. Definitely happy with what I got, but if they were on a rack somewhere, I probably world have passed on all the purchases but the band shirt for my wife. If the OOD shirt was in purple, it would be the best one. The good thing about the sales today is that they will do more designs for us, pretty quickly.

Don't get me wrong I think they're a brilliant company for a t-shirt company. Not just the way they market but the way they make it like a competition and can focus their energy on fanbases they connect with.

Their marketing is pretty genius, especially the part where they post the "record sales". Worked on me.

I’ve been in on Homefield since very early. I think they’ve made a lot of cool crap, but I also have a hard time wearing stuff from other schools. I’ve been on their app since they’ve had ~100 people on it just to get early looks because I’m a logo nerd. I‘ve been chirping at them for awhile for K-State & was pretty excited when they announced us.

The Octogon Of Doom shirt is my favorite K-State shirt ever. I bought the purple EMAW shirt, but now probably won’t wear it to a game because it looks like 10% of the stadium will have it. I almost bought the Wildcat Country shirt (and will probably later) because I like the design, but I have the same white shirt issue & have a weird thing about the term “*insert anything* country”. I think it’s very high schoolish, but I know I’m weird. I also like the POWL color/design. Outside of that I think it’s pretty meh & nothing like the Florida or Illinois collections that are all excellent.

I didn’t realize not liking Boscoe Boys was a gE thing. I like Grant, but I can’t stand Scott for multiple reasons (nothing from when he was active on gE) & don’t listen. I know a couple other people that don’t like Scott for similar reasons, but I had no clue I was gEing.

The Game when they have DY, Wyatt or Smellis on. Fortner has improved, but David G has to go

Boscoe’s Boys is probably my 3rd favorite, mainly because Scott has been pumping out a lot of content
 
GoPowercat’s weekly questions are decent

Other than that, nobody else seems to be putting much out there on a consistent basis. I just recently got into podcasts so still figuring it out. I think doing a podcast must be a lot harder than it looks and there are some out there that are just awful

They should’ve all been purple. EMAW was the obvious choice for me (and many others).

They get an A for marketing and an F for creativity.  The homefield designs could be done with 20 minutes of Googling vintage K-State logos and a few hours with a decent designer.  I was really hoping for some original design work.  Charlie Hustle needs to step it up with their current K-State selection, but they've had most of these designs before.  Here's an example where Homefield just changed it slightly...

Is this just an indictment of how shitty our K State gear options have been in the past? I know a lot of guys on here have said how they can find this stuff anywhere but I’ve also heard a lot of people complain how the selection in stores is crap. Supposedly these are high-quality shirts, and I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’ll take whatever brand recognition this provides by finishing in the top three. Does this send a message to other retailers that there is a market out there for K state gear?
