:opcat: ku fans calling for Turner Gill's head on Wichita radio. I am scared for his safety. I will defend him with all I have as I witness in person the raping they will take this Saturday at memorial track and field.

last year our defense was almost as  bad and our offense wasn't nearly as good as theirs.  just goes to show how quickly things can turn around for them- if KU fans just give him a chance.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

We live in an age of instant gratification. Add that to the underlying racism of most KU fans, and I'm afraid Turner, who is trying to do it the right way -- God's way, really -- doesn't have much of a chance. T
Obviously with the atheistic, racist local paper putting on the Klan hood, the pressure will be on the AD, who's education and experience doesn't include cross burning, to make a move. Absent some unexpected turnaround, Gill's toast.

Can you imagine what KU fans would do if they hired a black basketball coach? I imagine they'd gut the entire AD and hire someone new for each and every position (and obviously replace the basketball coach before he ever got a chance to coach a game).

Turner needs at least 3 more seasons to get his guys to buy-in.

These guys simply won't buy in...

It's as Gill said today on coaches' teleconference. D didn't tackle or do what they were told. It's on them. How can he be expected to win with that kind of buy-in?

Better buy in if you can't buy out

But they are very dedicated to "getting rid" of him. Some of the language I'm seeing is frightening...

Yeah, there's no way he still has a job after next season if he doesn't take them bowling. I don't think they can afford to buy him out after this season, though.

KU fans don’t like losing to anyone. Many were bummed and embarrassed after the loss to OSU and, if history repeats and OU routs KU, many will be equally as frustrated after that one, as well. But life will go on. And, by Tuesday or Wednesday, the game will have been forgotten. Not so with a loss to Kansas State. Those losses sting all year long because, around here, KU fans are neighbors with K-Staters and work with Wildcats. Losing to the purple people is personal for KU fans, not just because they’re so emotionally invested in the rivalry but also because the ramifications of a rough outing actually affect their daily lives.

I love how we are still their Super Bowl.

Asked him for his tix.  He said not for sale. I asked if they would be after OU embarrasses them.

That’s not a threat. That’s not me announcing some grass roots campaign to get rid of the guy or even suggesting that he should go. It’s closer to being a fact than anything else, and that’s the scary part.

Thinly veiled threats of violence against Turner just keep pouring out of the racist cesspool that is Lawrence, KS. I'm hoping he can make it out of that town in one piece

Do they have to buy him out or just pay him his salary over the time he's supposed to be there coaching?  Meaning the actual cost would really only be like giving him a raise of whatever amount the salary of the shitty coach they hire would be.
