That's simple bias from the coaches not knowing/acknowledging AAC volleyball

Got a 2023 commit from a top KC player, Reagan Fox - was a Rutgers commit. Will see if she can play this season since she decommitted late.

Big win for the new staff, particularly as it relates to re-establishing the relationship with KC Power that Suzie had essentially ruined.

The exterior is a little meh, but the VB arena is very spot on on the inside.

With the attached new Olympic training and sports medicine facility, that's a pretty awesome one-two punch for K-State to recruit to.

It wasn't the look of the floor, it was the type of floor. I had seen that type of floor in the NCAA tourney, but didn't pay it all that much attention, but now that K-State has that type of floor on a full time basis I was trying to figure out what it's all about. Because I'm a sports facility nerd, what can I say

Holy crap, we rough ridin' suck. This might be the worst team we've had since we made our first tournament in '96. Can't pass, can't block, can't hit. I'd this the best we can do at libero? Why even play with one? Carter somehow looks worse than last year. Where did her power from her freshman and sophomore year go?

Also this down ref is a menace, she's worse than we are.

And we somehow steal set 2.

The fact that we can't put a ball down against a team with basically zero block is even more egregious.

Passing has been terrible, but even when we get a good pass, timing between setters and hitters has been way off (seems like half of our attacks are tips).

Hinkle is in street clothes - wonder where she'd be playing if she wasn't...

Also, our OH/Opp will most certainly be among the shortest - if not THE shortest - in the multi-bid leagues (5-9, 5-10, 6-0).

A wins a win, but... damn.

PSU was utterly deflated after their best player went down, though we did also stop playing terrible.

We're going to need to play better by a factor of 1000 to not get embarrassed on our new court in 8 days.

People are going to see that score and be completely fooled by it but we sucked, in all aspects, and that was the worst team on our schedule, for the entire season. The block did get better in the 3rd and 4th sets but after that OH went out they seemed really slow and predictable in their attack. I'm not going to burn it down after the first ever match for Mansfield but they looked appreciably worse than they did at any point last season.

I'm kinda regretting buying tickets to that Nebraska match.

my view is that yes- we’re a work in progress but we have a LOAD of upside wanting and begging to be tapped. this team is going dancing, I almost guarantee it.

does anyone have a line on a good/great ksu v ball podcast? srs don’t link me to a middling v ball podcast
