Pretty annoyed that the soccer and volleyball matches are at the same time on Sunday. I'm going to guess K-State asked that the volleyball match be moved to Saturday bit either UT or the Big 12 said no. That being said It's also unfortunate the soccer match couldn't start at noon or the volleyball match start at 3.

Never mind, would not have guessed the schedule would be wrong on the official K-State app, but here we are

Quote
Fritz, in her 16th year as K-State’s head coach, likens Reininger to Tigger off of “Winnie the Pooh.” Not only is she cheerful and outgoing, she’s also 100 percent comfortable in her skin.

“Her optimism, her positivity, she just exudes those qualities. She’s our Tigger,” Fritz said. “At first you wonder if that’s real, and then she does it every day for four years. Her ability to make people feel good about being alive and her ability to bring joy to all phases of our lives is pretty unique and pretty special.”

Been a few years since I played a lot indoor/court volleyball (I prefer sand/beach) I can tell you this: # Times I've been hurt playing sand volleyball: 2 and they both involved jamming the crap out of my hand so bad I couldn't write for like a week on a spike. # Times I've been hurt playing court? Like every rough ridin' time, I can't tell you how many sprains, ankle twists, knee bruises/elbow bruises I've had from diving or landing from a spike. If you actually play aggressive defense, you will absolutely hurt yourself. Hate giving up points to the other team just becuase you dont want to layout.

You were asking that question seriously? They're not rough ridin' sitting in chairs dude, it's a sport with explosive movements, you spend two hours using fast twitch muscle fibers. The injuries are exactly what they would be in basketball. Have you ever watched a volleyball game?

Anyway..hope Reininger is back tomorrow vs Baylor. Sandbothe is an intriguing prospect though. Her sister is an All American at Ohio State.
