How much vetting did you do on this vet?

8/10 of their yelp reviews are 5 (of 5, not 7) stars. The 2 that aren't are people complaining about cat grooming or boarding.

I forgot part of the free-range story.  Prior to yesterday, the only place she crap aside from a specific part of the courtyard was at my buddy's yard where she spent almost 24 hours and had no choice.  Yesterday, we were walking down a busy downtown sidewalk, and she suddenly stopped and unloaded.  Before I realized it was part of her being sick, I was kind of jazzed that we wouldn't be so restricted on bathroom locations.

I think just fleas.  She's good on heartworm.

Dogs get sick, it happens. Usually when they do it shows up as diarrhea. I know when I got my first pup I was constantly worried about her. But 99% of the time it's just a day or two, or something weird they ate, or in your case a side effect of medicine.

Make sure her bowl is full of water, give her lots of bathroom breaks, she'll be fine, dogs are incredibly resilient and quick healing creatures.

She just shat pretty well, both to wear I could and had to pick it up as it was visibly sitting atop these palm-ish leaves in the courtyard.

I gotta figure out now how to get her to eat the flavor of food she's associating with getting sick.  I'm trying to mix the 2 I have so she gets over the aversion.  I remember having the same thing with burger king for years after it was the last thing I ate before having my first bad radiation sesh.

Is it natural for them to lick their asses (for cleaning?) after shitting?  I've been discouraging it, but maybe they're already evolved for it.

V normal. As long as she's not actually eating her crap don't worry about it.

Shat is correct, wear isn't.

I was putting some paper towels on her bed to try to encourage her to somehow wipe with those.  It's only been an issue I've noticed while she's been sick and shitting poorly.  For normal shits, she breaks them off pretty clean and is immediately good to go.

I was woken up this morning at 2 am by Dexter paintbrushing my face with his tongue. He had probably just finished licking his butt.

I might buy some of those wall-mounted purell dispensers from costco.

if she isn't taking the hint with the paper towels, i doubt if she'll take advantage of the purell either.

I'm grilling a shortbone ribeye.  Internet sources indicate it's bad to give the leftover bone to the dog.  Are the sources pussies?  I know Payton's gonna want it.

yeah, basically dogs are so dumb that they will eat the bone whole and then it could splinter inside of the doggo's intestine
