Weird.  I figured it was something where it was reading the isp and plugging in wherever the looker is from.  At least 2 of those 4 dogs are def in Texas and describe flying the dog to you.

Corky is from Nutmeg CT Rescue "in Seattle" but there's a video of some freak talking about teaching the dog southern life while parading it around a rough ridin' swamp.

Tosh is still the only dog I have a line of communication with a human open on.

I tweeted a pic of another chill bar dog about an hour ago.

Tosh's foster lady isn't responding to me or the dog placement people.  Dognapping?

The place with Dora, Clyde et al responded with more questions for me and commented that she thought either of those or Kara would work.  This is the place with minimal descriptions on petfinder for most of the dogs except Dora.  I need someone with facebook to look on the link that's in these links and see if there's better info there.

Clyde - https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36202787

Kara - https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/34258501 - There's some info on petfinder but nothing that makes me know why the lady thought she'd be a good fit.

Otto - https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/35512980

And here's another that I saw earlier today that looked like it meets my criteria.  Thoughts on Poppy?

I figured there'd have to be a renaming for almost any of them.

Puppies piss and crap everywhere and chew/eat anything not bolted down, right?

no (but yes if you have to leave it alone in the house all day).  they do need to chew a bit, but can learn pretty fast what is chewable and what isn't.

Finally got a hold of Tosh's foster, but now she's got Tosh meeting potential adopters this weekend so I have to wait until after to see if he's still an option.

The operator of Dora et al got back to me after I gave more specifics on what I'm looking for and has now enthusiastically raised the option of Dina.  https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36269844  There are no details on the site but the lady says "Dina would be a super choice for you she is athletic enough but also mellow enough for apartment living and is very well socialized with people and other dogs and has great house manners is crate trained and housebroken and has a perfect temperament."  That all sounds good, and the dog looks cool in the pictures that look like they were taken with whatever cell phone camera you people determined is the shittiest.

She says "Dora would be good too but a little more energetic."

I'm free to go meet her and the others almost anytime next week, which will work well because I'll know if Tosh will be available and can make one long-ass trip south if I had to go all the way to Winlock instead of just to Auburn for Dina.  Plus, there's no game next Sunday so I'll be free to make the final pickup and devote the whole day to a welcome home.

What sort of specifics should I ask about Dina, a female pit bull terrier mix, if I go?  I still don't know how old she is.  Are there more details on facebook?
