Ever had their basket of bacon (B.O.B.)?

There is absolutely nothing better than bacon!!!  The BOB is awesome!

I've enjoyed Kites on early morning football game days.  Their buffet is good.  Deep fried bacon always scores points.

I will also go on record with KJs being awesome for what it was.  It was great at being what it was.  There will never be a bar in aggieville that can replicate that (because of laws and stuff).

what years was KJ's?

'97-'98?

It was there until at least '98.  It turned into some other non-KJ's named KJ's for a year or two after that.

2 years.  The 4 Safari Jacks people bought it from Bob from Luckys.  One sold their interest to the rest and it turned into Gilligans for a year.  Then one sold their interest to the final two and it was Aggie Station for 2 years until it burned down.

KJ's was very, very good to me my senior year.  Good friend of mine lit his face on fire there with a flaming DP.  Treasured memories.

Yeah, I worked at all of the iterations.  We had a Can I Get An Application pub crawl with all of the employees as it burned.  Was elite.

Jeff Barret was soooooo rough ridin' dreamy.  On the $0.25 Tuesday draw night, he would serenade us with his silky smooth James Taylor knock offs.

My best band in a bar experience was Shaking Tree in Maes.  They did a few really good covers...DMB, Flaming Lips, etc.  Not bad, but not Vanilla Ice at the Wharem(sp).

I quit.  Definitely not as cool now.  No regrets, though.  Right thing to do.

I'd recommend smoking while young and then quitting later.
Was it very hard to quit?

Yeah, but easier when you're older.  It's worth the trade off.

Plus, quitting smoking is a huge accomplishment.  If you never smoked you miss out on all the compliments from people after you quit smoking.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Point of correction.  It wasn't actually Bombers that burned.  Bombers closed.  It became Club Carrington for a week or two before getting shut down for too many MIP's.  The next weekend it coincidentally burned down.

Always joke with my brother-in-law that he burned it down.  He was the night manager at the place next door that burned with the bar. (pizza place, I think).  He was the last one out of the building that night.  He says he usually took the night deposit with him, but forgot once he had locked the door he didn't want to go back in.  The cash fried.  He told me he wished that he would have grabbed it and kept it. Then they could have claimed that it burned in the insurance claim.
