Maes:  I've never understood why people don't like it.  It always made me happy though 'cause 99% of the people that don't like Maes are the type of people I would never wanna hang out with anyways.

Lol. So true. This also applies to RAB, mostly on weeknights. So Long used to be like that, but more and more the fratters are taking that place over.

:ohno: :ohno: :ohno: Really afraid of knowing interweb peoples.  :ohno:  Have to know you though, I did the same at Scoreboard and knew all the 12th streeters.  Spent most of college at either place.

Good to talk to you again 'clams

I went to Mae's pretty much exclusively.  Smoked a ton of late night cigarettes there.  Remember Daris working there.  Hung out with many weird frackers.

Loved 10¢ wings every Friday, stuck around for jazz.

Yeah.  Don't understand why people would single this out as a negative.

Exactly.  Big time positive.

+1

A trip to Aggieville is a almost a fail without a stop at Mae's.  Love that place.

For dudes that used to smoke the late night cigarettes... do you guys still smoke? Any health problems because of the cigarettes? If you have since quit smoking, did you become less cool or does the cool stick to you and last with you?

Still doesn't take away their $1 pitcher nights.  I would hang pretty much anywhere offering $1 pitchers as a minor.

I quit.  Definitely not as cool now.  No regrets, though.  Right thing to do.

I'd recommend smoking while young and then quitting later.

he had offer $1 pitches because his customers allowance wasn't much more than that.  the place was about as stupid of a bar as could be, next to club berlin.

The Lou was a staple, finish the night with 50 cent (maybe 25) natty cans if you could stomach it.  :drink:

Yeah, but easier when you're older.  It's worth the trade off.

yeah. kj's was more than pretty bad. remember the boxing ring they had? i only went into kj's twice. got kicked out both times. door guys apparently didn't like five-six guys doing professional wrestling moves (pile drivers, figure four leg locks. throwing each other up against the ropes, etc) inside of that thing.
