One time I did this with a master angler and then again later with a construction equipment rental company.  neither bit.  just awful spambots.
They disappoint me so, so much.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

At night? Anti

But you can't get a DUI in the daylight.

friend of mine in college would NEVER drink & drive.  he's "responsible" and crashes at our house after a party, drives home at noon the next day.  gets the living crap t-boned out of him by some bob strawn-type character who is too old to obey a stop sign onto bluemont.  dui.

 i mean wtf right?

JFC, how much would you have to drink to not be able to pass the breathalyzer at noon the next day?

If drunk drivers only killed themselves, I would be Pro without question.

However, they don't. So I have to be anti...but I do not shed a tear when a drunk driver runs into another drunk driver and there are no survivors.

I learned at drug and alcohol awareness class that generally (and it varies for everyone obviously) your body metabolizes 1 beer/shot an hour after it is consumed.  so, if you drink 20 beers you are going to have booze in your system for the next 20 hours.  my guess is that you don't metabolize as much while sleeping (or maybe more, what the eff do I know).

Who breathalizes a guy who just got T-boned? Disorientation would be the norm, I would think. Unless he still reeked of 'cohol.

i would guess he was asked if he'd been drinking and said, "not since last night" and that mumped him.

Bingo.  Been pulled over twice in  :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :driving: situations (~5 drinks).  Both times for semi b.s. reasons (right turn into second lane, cracked tail light), both around 11 PM on weeknights.  Basically cops just pulling me over to see if I was leaving the bar (I was).  Made sure to answer the "have you had anything to drink tonight" question with a casual "no."  They run my information, slap me with a warning, and tell me to have a good night.  Btw, I believe I've now been pulled over 9 times, and have 1 ticket.

answer: a lot but probably not as much as you might think.  don't remember if he was 21 yet or not, either - don't remember if there is like a 0.02 rule for minors or something like that.

True story: had a super aggressive polygraph examiner last year who kept insisting that I wasn't clear on my "involvement with illegal activities." He noted my current work address and asked "you never been to a happy hour after work? Maybe you threw back a couple of martinis on an empty stomach and headed home?"
Me: "Sure. I mean, never martinis, but yeah."
Him: "so you're telling me you've driven drunk?"
Me: "No. I've just driven after drinking. Totally different."
Him: "You do know that tolerance is different from blood alcohol level, right? You could have felt 'fine' but still been over the legal limit."
Me: Um, so driving non-impaired by alcohol is the crime you're looking for?
Him: So you admit you did it?
Me: I'm in no position to retroactively interpret the legality of past actions you just deemed harmless to public safety.

a guy that i know works for federal govt and is supposed to get randomly p tested. anyway he has had his job for a few years and has never been tested while people that he works with have been tested like ten times. anyway, the guy gets pretty trashed on a day in the middle of the week recently and when he shows up to work the next day and is told that he has been chosen. he's given the choice of testing at 9 or 2 and he picks 2 and then goes straight to the internet to research stuff. end of the story is they don't test for alcohol.

there are some jobs that you could probably get into trouble with people if you were drunk while doing them. drink and hour. seven hours between 2am and 9am.

Lol at being given a choice on times. For alcohol, you really have to be visibly intoxicated on duty or have repeatedly done dumb crap in public while drunk.

Drunk driving is the ultimate test of survival.  Getting hammered and having the stones to make it back to your place alive without killing yourself is probably what the spartans would have put their children through in our age.
When the bullets are flying, that's when I'm at my best
