Who is the real Sugar Dick and why is he so notorious?

This is the only reason I remember the original Sugar Dick (probably my favorite post of all time):

so, bmw & i were talking about the ku ad, and i asked him "beems, what are those guys like?  i mean, what are they really like?", and beemsey told me "sys, they're a bunch of sugar dicks".  that was the first i'd heard of sugar dicks, so i asked "what do you mean?".  bmw pulled out a chilidog (he always carries one), wrapped it in a donut and picked up a sugar shaker (we were at an all night waffle place).  he shook sugar all up and down that chilidog.  i mean really poured it on.  then he looked up at me and said "get the picture?", and winked.
