This all sounds incredible, lol @ too cool for school people who were all "totally, it's too expensive and the lineup sucks, no thanks."

The people that told me it was too expensive are the type of people who pay $35 to see 311 play the same songs every summer. We can't all succeed at life.

I think I'll personally be disappointed with the final lineup, hopefully they surprise me and there's enough artists I want to see

Started in 2011 and is now 2013, thus 3 years.  I do suppose MoCat only talked about the event in 2011 and 2013 so that would be two years.  Either way, nice dedication MoCat

Chose Bonnaroo over this. Paul McCartney and Tom Petty! Not to mention all the cool, hip bands playing on the undercard.

McCartney almost got me to go to 'Roo, would be insane to see him and Petty at the same festy but I chose Snowball in CO instead. More EDM, more fun!!

They are all really fun, and if you aren't having fun, then you haven't taken enough drugs yet.

Festival n00b here except for Bonnaroo. Do any other festivals have comedy tents? Bonnaroo's is usually pretty awesome. And it's huge, and air conditioned. And dark, which is just what the doctor ordered after you partied your brains out at Phish the night before.

*edit*  oh man also a giant movie tent

Both are so great.

Tool's visuals are insane. It's a lot more fun if you are de-soberized in any way. Maynard stands at the back of the stage in the dark so theres not a whole lot you're missing on stage. Danny Carey is not human
