A few friends and I were watching the K-State/Tech game last night, and everyone of us were in agreement that K-State's black uni's are sweet.  Also had a debate about who was better:  Kelly or Samuels.  I argued for Samuels.

Especially considering Samuels is a sophomore. More consistency and more upside, imo.

Actually, '07 was the weird year.  There's a different dynamic with basketball, though, since KU is still dominant.

Whaaattt? LOL. He wouldn't start for Frank fracking Martin if he was "soft". . . He might not throw elbows constantly, but he is far from soft. About this far to be exact:

I'm with you on this.  Samuels draws contact, gets to the line, and finishes (needs more work on FTs but he's improving).  Has pretty good range too.  I think Frank is training him to be the vocal team leader once Pullen leaves.

Because he doesn't foul alot (ie. Judge JHR Colon), and isn't slow and constantly out of position (ie Colon). Doesn't mean he is soft. Ask the Texas posts' how soft they think he is.

kelly has time to develop, sammy has come a long way since last year and i expect ck too going into next year.  with his size/athleticism he could be freakish if he gets used to playing in the b12 paint and initiating contact instead of reacting to it.

Looks like I may of made that part up  .  Maybe I just don't seem to cringe as much when hes at the line because they are less crucial in some of our games.
