I'm not used to the newfangled helmets where the facemask doesn't go above the eyes like Martinez wears. I'm sure I'll get used to them soon though.

If you think about it, what’s the point of face mask being there, saves a bit of plastic

I was just going to say I do like that look but it’s so overused I don’t think I’d like the Cats in it. But if the youths like it (especially the stud youths) then I’m all for it.

i wish we took away the stripes to go with the new helmet. the dallas cowboys style is very 90's, and the helmet/number thing is definitely before the 80's. penn state style

There are so many awesome all black uni sets. The key is to not let the black leak into all the sets and add it to our color scheme (like Iowa State), and use black pants with white jerseys, etc.

A one game a year all black uni would be just fine.

need white pants and chromed out helmets.  Purple chrome coked willie would be amazing on a white helmet.

I love flag waving Willie and I love white helmets, but I understand why some of the players weren't jumping out of their chairs after seeing our cutest smiling cartoon logo on their helmet.  It's not exactly a tough look. I'll reserve judgement until I see them on the field.

Nuthin' more humiliating than getting curb-stomped by a team wearing a friendly cartoon cat logo on their helmets.  It is sort of like Mickey Mouse walking through the door and killing your family with an ice pick.

I'm glad we're doing something against Tulane, they are truly a uniform GOAT, the best in college football IMHO.

it’s not even a blackout.  blackout literally means all black. maybe mike stanleys is color blind idk
