BenJi make sure you check for ticks.  Also, they really need to mow around the pond don't you think? I mean sheesh... we aren't going to stand out there and fish in weeds all summer are we?

I've been out there every night the past 2 weeks.  been absolutely killing it.  40-50 bass per night, every night.   catch and release?  nope.  more like, catch and throw bass body into weeds to rot

I use it as a toilet all the time.  1s and 2s.  Very green.

70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, just a beautiful day to catch some fish.



O yeah, and I just caught a 10+ lb catfish while fishing for bass. Took me 15 minutes to get that sucker in.

Oh I guess I forgot to mention I caught 6 wild trout in about 45 minutes last weekend.  One had nice shoulders and pulled hard and was a smart fighter.

I rough ridin' hate horses, something about them just scares the crap out of me.

Cattle? Whatever, i'll walk right past those walking hamburgers but eff horses.

So im at this public access farm pond near baldwin city and see 2 grown up horses and 1 baby horse in the pasture I need to cross to get to the pond.

Whatever, i'll make a big curve around them and be fine.

About halfway through the pasture another baby horse pops his head up from the tall grass about 30 yards away from me. Stupid crap must of been playing hide and go seek.

eff. Mama horse on the side of the pasture notices me at this exact same time and starts an AGGRESSIVE TROT towards me and her little shitstain baby.

I panic, like hardcore panic and sprint back to the fence line.

When I get back over the fence I realized my phone fell out of my pocket during my 100 meter dash. Had to wait like 15 minutes for the horses to leave for another pasture before I could get my phone back.

Horses are bright, intelligent creatures.  You would've been fine just slowly walking away from the foal.

You might say horses are safer to walk next to than cattle but I don't care.

Im petrified of horses. When I see a horse coming my direction I lose my composure quicker than an Incan warrior.

typically I throw them all back(after a picture).

couple of times a year I will clean some.
