I'm this sure has already been covered. what regulations are there on taking the 1.5 oz shooters onto airplanes in carry-ons. i take quite a few trips from DIA to KC and would like to get crap housed in that 1.5 hour time frame on as cheap of a dime as possible..... also, does anyone have ideas when it comes to weed? or is the edibles strategy still #1?

If you buy them outside the airport and put them in your carry-on, the answer is 3.  3 bottles, Iin a see through 1 qt bag.

http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/3-1-1-carry-ons

If you buy the little bottles in the duty free shops in between the screening and boarding gates, I saw a guy who believed the answer was as many will fit in your bag as he threw about 20 of them in there.  I don't know if that is legal but it is doable although not a cheap alternative

I'm not aware of any limit, but they must all fit in your ziploc bag.

Technically it is illegal for you to serve yourself alcohol on an airplane.   Some airlines/attendents don't care and won't say anything, others will.   Some will offer to serve you to make it legal.

Went to a beach, took sandals off and waded in the surf, was only highs in 70's so no swimming.

Did not hit da clubs, didn't even do that as a younger guy, I'm more of a lounge type drinker.  Drank my share of wine though while there.

That was the only feasable plan I could come up with if we tried to stay there and not return home

Nothing resembling Q as far as the eye could see there

Family trip this week. We made our way from Louisville to Cocoa Beach. When I was in the Navy, I was assigned to USS Maryland in St Marys GA. Anyhow, we drove through the area yesterday and stopped at one of our favorite restaurants.

Fresh seafood is my favorite. This place is worth the ten minute drive from I-95 if you're passing through the area. Not a high end ambience dining experience by any means. Definitely one you'd miss if you didn't know about it.

To honest, I focused on seafood.  I did have probably 4 of the products you speak of.  2 were really good, 2 were poor.

New Orleans:

Cochon Butcher is insanely good.  Sandwich shop with an incredible menu.  Definitely would recommend to anyone going.  Duck pastrami sliders were awesome.
Peche was really good as well.  Getting a whole wood fire grilled fish to share was neat.
Rebirth Brass Band was an extremely fun show.  Different experience from most concerts.  Would definitely see a show next time I am back.

I had just ate somewhere else, saw it walking by, and had to get a couple things off the menu.  That place is incredible.

I should have done this. You could really probably have 4 or 5 meals a day for a weekend and have something fairly unique to New Orleans every time.
