Snacks are pretty meh at this kimpton (Pez aside). Pringles, luna bars, and hotel-brand M&M knockoffs. But tiger print robes!

Going to Chicago the weekend of Sept 14th for a bachelor party with like, 15 bros.

Staying in wrigleyville area at some sort of 3 story house you can rent out and rage at. Had originally planned to go to a cubs game but they are not in town, fortunately one of our friends knows a guy who has a 30' sea ray and is going to take us out to "The Playpen" on lake michigan saturday afternoon. Never heard of it before but apparently its party cove meets jersey shore on lake michigan, will be  :emawkid: :emawkid: :emawkid: my ass off all day.

LOL....Lake Michigan on Sept 14.   Take a blanket and a dry suit.

Will be spending 3 days there and need to pass the time

You're completely mumped.

If you'd like to be useful though get up super early and tell me if you hear any quail calling.

Did not hear any quail

I did see about 30 deer at dusk in between ft scott and baxter springs driving back tonight though

Was on the beach next to the playpen this weekend.  Tons and tons of huge boats.  Asked my bro in law about it and he said it's basically a ton of booze and drugs and also lots of porn stars hangout there and get blasted.

Sounded pretty great to me.  Should be pretty fun for a b-party.

AA is replacing some of their POS MD80s with some of these beaut's pretty soon:

http://boardingarea.com/aadvantagegeek/2013/07/25/party-pics-american-takes-deliver-of-their-first-airbus-a319/

If you are booking AA from Wichita to DFW (or vice versa) they will be flying both planes for a bit so make an effort to book a 319 if possible.

did i ever tell you guys about the pilot that i had on my last flight from ord to mhk? this hotrod was probably around 50 and was just fired up as heck like he pounded 7 redbulls before he showed up to the airport. our plane was delayed and he was on the mic at the waiting gate telling jokes and asking people where they were from. then he grabs the red tags and starts telling everyone that if they're carryon is over a certain size that they'll have to check and starts walking around handing them out and just chatting everyone up. some people got a kick out of it but i'm like this is weird. drugs? anyway he continues hugging babies and stuff then we finally get on board and i half expecting him to be the one bringing the drink cart around. our entrance into mhk was just the absolute fastest decent i've ever seen. then we we get off he's already off the plane and helping to unload luggage onto the cart. just unreal. anyway, that's it. hope everybody is having a good day.

Where would you stay at if you're going to wine country?   Napa, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, or Sonoma?   I'll likely be using Hilton points.  Also what area of San Fran should I stay in?  I've heard fishermans wharf sucks.

but yeah, probably stay in Napa or Sonoma for wine country, Union Square for SF. Napa is the more high end than Napa. Union Square sucks, but not as much as Fisherman's Wharf and there are a ton of hotel choices. You can get around the city a lot easier from Union Square.

have stayed at the Embassy Suites in Napa which was ok. I think they have a Hilton Garden Inn as well. Going to be tough to find any really good options with points other than the Andaz Napa with Hyatt. I'd pony up the money and stay in St. Helena or Yountville.
