the best part about them is looking down at the tires and watching them smoke on landing

got a buddy that flies one of these to the Bahamas from time to time.     I would not fly in one that kind of distance.

My other buddy flies a Citation, got to go once to a guys trip in OKC, that was pretty fun.  Wheels up Billard to OKC in 45 minutes.

they are huge.  one flew into Topeka last summer going cross country.    they can cause a lot of damage to airfields because of weight.

saw like a million of those in singapore.

They are kind of short (length-wise) so they don't seem that big to me.

I once had a late night flight from St. Louis to Kansas City in a practically empty 747.  Felt kinda weird.  Like, "Am I on the right plane here?"

That's a boring story, but there are obviously a lot of airport nerds here.

That's pretty crazy. Maybe a maintenance thing from when that facility was there?

22 guys who realize the logistics of getting 22 guys to Vegas or someplace distant is too much hassle on short notice.    Instead, some of you rent vans and drive, and the elites fly down on a private jet.     Bricktown is a fun little spot to bar hop after watching some bball.

Pro-tip - indoor go karting the morning after a bender is a bad idea.   Never seen so many guys puking in helmets.

anyone else ever forget their nail clippers when they left for vacation because I did, might look around for a Christmas manicure, long nails.   :curse: #thingsyoucantstand

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Planning a weekend bro trip to go skiing in the Wasatch Mountains in Feb. I've got a buddy that lives in SLC so I dont need a hotel but I do need a flight.

A quick search of southwest and priceline doesnt help much, best I have found is 297 on frontiers website. Anyone fly out to SLC before and know of any deals?

I checked right before I posted that. Just checked again and now it's $345 for the same itinerary.  :horrorsurprise:

I was looking at the entire month of February with flexible dates. I think you had to go Wed-Sun or Sat-Tues to get that rate. Not sure how flexible your "weekend" definition was/is.

Going to Chicago on a whim tomorrow with some miles that were going to expire at year end. Flight is at 5:55am ( :sdeek:) and I have absolutely nothing planned. Take the orange line to the loop and get weird I guess  :dunno:

Maybe the aquarium? eff, I have no idea. Gino's East? ummmmm Sears Tower? Whatever. Go cats.
