Be wary of the hustlers on the streets after the bars close at 4 though.

This is going to be great.

I have always dreamed of living in the San Diego area, ever since my family visited there like 10 yrs ago. I have been researching jobs for when I graduate next May, and their are a lot of opportunities in my field.  However, I have a suspicion that the salary won't match the cost of living increase.  It's gotta be like twice the cost of living in KC, am I right? Any San Diegians (sp?) that can verify?

The cost of living won't double. Housing will, but nothing else will (except maybe your surfing and board short budgets). Go to San Diego.  You are 23 years old and shouldn't worry about stupid things like cost of living.
25K in student loan debt  :sdeek:

I'm sure some of you had worse......butt eff

my god. 25k is nothing. slap that thing on a thirty year repayment plan at like 3.5% and you'd be paying like eighty bucks a month for the first five years.

I don't know. He will probably pay the loan off in no time and live like a king in Lenexa. Which would be pretty sweet.

Well, maybe next year you'll have the initiative of a felix rex or emawgeddon and arrange to have a pak head with you.

Hey SD (or if anyone else has a great recommendation),

Where to stay in NYC? Planning a trip for early this fall. Want to go shopping and take in a broadway production. Probably not going to spend $500/night, but I would stay in a great place/locale.

Thank you for any help.

I'm staying at the Hyatt 48 Lex in March.  Gets good reviews.  :dunno:  Don't know what it would cost for your dates though.  If you are paying for your room I really won't be of any help.  Just find the hotels that are in your price range/area and pick the one that gets the best tripadvisor reviews.

Going to Plattsburgh, NY in a couple weeks. Turns out it's only about an hour drive from Montreal. Any suggestions for a one day solo trip to Montreal?
