oooh rough timeline of when you’ll be in England?

I could probably make anything in the first two weeks of April work.

Palace hosts Man City April 6. Might be a tough ticket but a fun atmosphere in South London. Newcastle at Fulham would also be fun if you're in London. Luton hosts Bournemouth that day and it's the most ridiculous top level sports stadium ever, less than an hour from Kings Cross station.

if you're not a fan of any particular team, i would just take a look at the cities you plan on going to and any game would be a cool experience.

I'd personally recommend going anywhere but one of the big 6 stadiums (Man City, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, United, Arsenal). I'm sure they'd be a good time but the smaller clubs would probably be a more unique experience and almost definitely cheaper. Maybe try a Championship game as well.

i have never been to a european football match, but from reading here and elsewhere i agree, going to a match at a smaller club would be more enjoyable in a lot of ways.

what's unique about Luton's stadium?

i would never argue against spurs, but would also make it a point to go to a smaller club match either in the prem league or something in championship or league 1 or 2 would be just as fun, probably more fun if you don't have a rooting interest

Craven Cottage is like the Fenway Park of the EPL, my vote would be for Fulham.

Southwest cancelled my flight today (along with a bunch of others) and rebooked me for a flight Tuesday(!) I booked a Delta flight home today but Southwest should give me something right? How did people get compensated the last time they had a giant eff up?

I bet you could get a couple hundo on a voucher if you work it a little.  I had a flight delayed 4 hours from Denver to KC back in September and I think I got that much.

I'm in Vegas and can see the strip but can't go  :frown:

My earlier flight got delayed and so now my layover isn't long enough to be able to leave the airport. It's such a #firstworldy problem to have but it sucks non the less.

Nope and nope! I’m surprised a resident of this city’s airport hasn’t guessed it yet.

Last fall I won a raffle for a free trip to Cancun to an all inclusive (Sun Palace).  Resort looks decent enough, but I'm going in with 0 expectations because, at worst, it'll be free mediocre drinks/food and 4 days on the beach (i am perfectly fine with mediocre food/drinks).

Booked it for March.  What a great thing.

Are they going to try and pitch you on a vacation club?

That's a good mindset to have going into it.
