Oh yeah, I also ate at Butcher and Bee, I completely forgot. I was good I like Lockeland Table better because I'm not enamored with Mediterranean food, but B & B is solid.

headed to nashville for the nate bargatze show in april and i’d really appreciate the wetdicked posters here to provide any elite level hotel and restaurant recommendations

1. Super jealous you get to see Nate in his stomping grounds.

2. Urban Cowboy is a wine spot I loved that's basically in a house in the middle of a normal ass neighborhood.

I don't have a lot of "taste" opinions, but I feel very strongly that Mediterranean food is the best kind of food. What's your complaint?

seeing nate in his stomping grounds was the impetus for going
really excited

I also really need some wetdicked lodging recommendations before I go bonkers over here
hotels seem pretty expensive there, omni wants $700 a night

Book a reservation for dinner at The Listening Room and hear songwriters sing their hits and tell stories about them. Not going for the food, it’s fine, just a cool experience if you like country music.

If you want some karaoke check out Santa’s Pub. Or if you just feel like smoking heaters in a bar again (I warned you). Cash only and serve cold beers from a kitchen fridge.

Losers house band was fantastic.

Broadway is fine and best during the day in a rooftop. Bring sunglasses.  :gocho:

Neck and neck for me but I definitely eat Mexican more. Could be because we don't have crap for Mediterranean here.

Yes typically. But like isn't Italian and French and Spanish "Mediterranean"?

I think a generic way to classify "Mediterranean" is a menu that includes flat bread and lamb and something like hummus. I don't know what Armenian is like but I can totally see Palestinean falling into it. But I can also see afghan food making the cut! (Italian is more "Mediterranean")

No complaints, I just don't love Mediterranean food as much as I do other ethnic food. Not enough meat or the right meats that I prefer.

FTR I love Mediterranean food and I would count Italian-Greek-Turkish-Levant area as "Mediterranean". I feel Armenian-Persian as "Middle Eastern." And IMO the line I draw, besides geography, is usually dependent on meat choices, and how much potential of subbing in more chickpea/grains over the pasta/breads you'd find in Mediterranean, as well as olive oil use. I do love both. I find the balance of meat/veggies/grains in both with the flavor and spices to be damn near the perfect diet.

The origin of Cincinnati chili is actually like some Greek soup. Everyone who says that it isn't chili is more correct than they know.

I ate at Skyline after a friend told me it was a "must eat" place.  I'll never listen to a recommendation from him again.

At best, yes. At worst, it's a euphemism white people use when they really mean "middle eastern" but are racist
