Wacky weren’t you just in ATL?
Yeah, ATL canceled my flight to KC yesterday for today, so I got a connecting flight today in hopes that I’d make it home. I was unsuccessful.

The weather hadn’t hit yesterday. It was just a forecast and they already Canceled my flight. I was trying to save the company a few bones by trying to make it home today. :curse:

I'm stuck here in Detroit, because of the weather. They have zero flights directly to KC tomorrow, so I need to go through Minneapolis and will be hanging there most of the day before my flight home. Anyways, I just saw that they put me in 1st class on the way to MSP.  I've never sat up there before. Are drinks free and how many can I get on that short of a flight? How do I look like I've been there before? TIA!
Yes free drinks, if you’re persistent I think you can get 4. But if you want to look like you’ve been there before, I don’t recommend this.

Whatever you do, don’t make eye contact with the proles as they file past.

*Wacky, trying to blend in in first class*

Wacky: So, I can get four free booze drinks, right?

Flight Attendant: Sir, it's 8 in the morning, and the flight time is one hour. But technically, yes.

Pre covid one pre take off and then as fast as you can pound them. Post covid? One I'd bet.  You should get home fine tomorrow. Nothing beats a Friday work flight home!

On a flight from Detroit to Minneapolis they very well may serve you once. I had a first class flight from Albuquerque to Denver and they provided it when we boarded but didn't provided service again once they plane pushed from the gate.

I've only been in first once (but a 6 hour flight!) and it was one commoner goof after another for me. Pretty lol thinking back on it.

You should try it international.  You will never sit coach again.

Flew Delta One to Amsterdam on my way to Scotland last month. Yup, it's amazeballs. I been looking at Delta One flights just for the thrill to see if I can find one near 2k.

I do want to try the one just below it, Premium Select, just to see if that is good enough for international, cause it is by far the best when going to europe to get good sleep on the way there.

Also wacky, grats on the first class, it is a ton of fun, it never gets old to be upgraded when I do going to and from Canada like I do. I'm always grateful for it, even if it's happened several dozen times.

I always thought 1st class on most domestic flights is kind of overrated (work perk at old job). The major benefit is not sharing an armrest. Hot towels (meh), meals (still suck), booze (i'm not 20 anymore). Now international on the other hand...AMAZE!

Arm rest point is huge. The flight out to Atlanta was miserable, because the dude in the middle seat took up both arm rests and had his legs wide out. He was deep in purple, so I let it slide. lol.

Middle seat always gets both arm rests.  The leg spread thing is bs though.

Dude, you don't know the middle seat arm rest rule?

lol. I literally never knew that. I usually curl up like a armadillo when I'm in the middle seat, so I'm not bothering anyone. Maybe I've done it too, but didn't think about it. Fair rule. Leg thing pissed me off tho.

Ha. Just two. I like to look responsible around strangers out in the open. However, my final one, the flight attendant made it a double and said there's something extra in there for you. I was hoping it was hard drugs, but the extra vodka sufficed.  :D
