Just booked San Diego for January 27th-30th. Buddy who works for Farmers, got us VIP passes for the golf tournament out there. Points took care of all of our flights.  :gocho: Super excited.

I like golf alright but never been to a big tournament as a spectator.  Is it fun?  Seems like sparse action.

This tournament is considered one of the party tournaments. Especially with his coworkers who go every year. Players come and speak with the group after rounds sometimes too. It should be a lot of fun. It's right off the beach. We won't be there all day, because it's San Diego and there's a crap ton to do, but it should be fun for a good 4-5 hours.

Not really, but GA tickets are cheap and you can get super close to the players on tee boxes and watch them bomb drives which is fun if you play golf.

My guess is Southwest based on the pedestals in the background

Took in my first capital one lounge today at dfw. Pretty empty and food at least as good as centurions. Had a ton of grab and go things which was nice. Peletons and private nap rooms (did not use). Not quite as much booze selection.

No MSY pic for guessing. I failed you all.

their problem on selling potential customers (me), is that there's like, what, four of them?

Yeah I doubt I keep it past year 1.  DFW is the only one right now.  DEN and IAD coming.

Had a nice little dinner in DEN this evening in terminal C. Timberline Steak and Grille was a nice surprise. Trout almondine was delicious. Nice change of pace from the usual airport fare.
