my wife went on a girls trip pre-covid. sounded kinda desert-y with shitloads of dutch people. Obviously the number of Dutch people might be different but the desert wouldn't

It's spendy as far as Carribean islands go.  Nice place and squeaky clean but I'd probably pick one of the St. islands

aruba has its own endangered rattlesnake.

i think i made phil aware of this previously in this thread but he still didn't go work remotely from aruba.

Astute. South of the hurricane zone. Definitely a plus if looking for now.

When you visit Louisville, there's a new restaurant atop Churchill Downs, Matt Winn's Steakhouse. Reservations required but easily obtained until the track reopens. Highly recommend. Nothing like cashing a few big tickets at the window and rolling upstairs for some fine dining.

https://www.mattwinnsteakhouse.com/

We both had the petite filet. Apps were baked oysters with some fancy toppings. I also had french onion soup that was fantastic. My fiance had lobster bisque. The brussel sprouts were *chef's kiss*. $200 with tip and no booze.

Which airport is better to fly into/out of?
Omaha or Des Moines?
I moved and now I live smack dab in the middle of both of them, and I fly frequently for work, so what airport do I choose?
Keep in mind, I will spend very little if no time in either city, this is strictly airport related.

Go for the one with the most flights on your preferred airline

Now you recognize it works just fine and you didn’t need to spend billions.
