madison is great, bathrooms are nice (for campground bathrooms) and the location is bitb for most stuff. like iirc firehole canyon is like 5 min drive from there

while hiking, just be loud, especially when coming up to a blind bend in the trail

I'm in Champaign through the weekend for work. Not sure if I'll have any free time but I thought we had a few Illini alums around here. Other than chicken nuggets, anything worthwhile?

napa, you don't have to be crammed in with a bunch of other people all day if you don't want to be. plus you can swing over to russian river

Eat at Maize is pretty much my only recommendo. Black Dog is also very good BBQ.

The powercat brand is still effective. One of those annoying sellers of trinkets on the PV beach came up with his braided bracelets and was excitedly pointing out that he had a K-STATE WILDCATS one after noticing my hat.

I'm sure it's fine. I just think it's kinda boring for more than a day trip. I'd rather go sit on a beach, but of course it never gets hot where I live so YMMV.
