Work has us get automatic "A" boarding even if we forget to check in. I only find myself in the middle when I'm on a bender on vacation with friends and forget to check in.

I don't like SW bc I'm always in the middle of some fat people

why would you chose to sit in the middle seat between anyone of any girth?  i mean, since you can literally pick any open seat on the plane, that makes no sense.  i've flown SWA hundreds of times and have never once sat in a middle seat.

Sometimes you have to. I don't like how I can't just pick an aisle seat when I purchase my ticket and that I have to set an alarm 24 hrs before my flight to remind myself to check in so that I can be in a high B or better.  Different strokes I guess

So you pay extra to avoid a middle seat? Sweet man

Advantages of SW to me are nonstops to some random desties that other airlines don't have, like BWI or LAS for example

Corporate discount "upgrade" still saves the company a lot of $. Execs and recruiters fly the most in my company. Pretty sure they do it to keep my COO happy who's in the air 24/7.

I'm flying to san diego in 3 weeks on delta.  $100 cheaper than southwest.

On another note, most nerve wracking flight experience?  Mine is a tie.  1a: aborted landing after the crosswinds nearly drove the wingtips into the tarmac.  1b: prop plane from lima to cuzco.  Had plenty of leg room, but it felt like the plane was going to split open at any moment.

Best thing about SW is their point system. Can't remember the last time I paid for a flight away from work.

If you pick your seat right there is no issue, ever, on SW.  The SW haters are a pretty hilarious bunch, and not that smart tbh.

You can literally just pay 12 bucks to board early.  It's so simple.
