has anyone been to mexico city? there are some super cheap southwest flights to there out of kansas city. also super cheap hiltons available.

I have only been there on a layover. It's the city I'd most like to spend time in that I haven't. You should go.

i need May 18 to get here for southwest to release their December booking schedule. right now there's October round trips available for 11,000 points per person.
This is insane! I just started looking into this.

The thing about Mexico City tho, is it isn't by the ocean (no resorts), so I guess just don't get too Pak'd where you end up in a Mexican jail.

I havent seen any Locked Up Abroad episodes set in Cuba. It seems that everywhere else is the Western Hemisphere south of the US is bad news, though. So, I'd assume the same for them.

And Mexico City? You must be joking.

Indeed. How utterly banal...

Please pass the Brie and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Canadian couple I met on vaca said everything loses 1 star when you land in Cuba.  Wait a few years before you visit.

Just got back to the states from Spain. Do: spend time in the country. Don't: go to Barcelona with a pregnant wife.

Drove through Tulsa yesterday. First time ever in Tulsa. Stopped at a QT in Tulsa and it was as Oklahoma-y an experience as I've ever had. That is not a compliment.

San Diego in early July for a conference.  Haven't been in 5 years.  Any suggestions for good eateries/bars?  My hotel will likely be in the gaslamp district.
