are all lawyers closet fascists?  perhaps it's a mental quirk among those attracted to law.
We've collectively decided on rules and to abide by them and if nobody cares about them then our society crumbles.

We must abide by airlines' policies, even unto death.

impulse bought flights to Paris from KC tonight during an AA sale ($431 apiece)

going in late Sept / early Oct

hotel recommendos?  I have plat status and a billion points with Marriott, or I have Hyatt vouchers that I had planned to use in Kauai this winter but the Park Hyatt is v tempting

also any other recommendos for crap to do, eat, etc, tia

Details on booking this?

I subscribe to emails from scottscheapflights.com and he emailed me about it

It's prob over now, but basically you look on google flights to see when the cheap flights are. It was for like Sept thru Feb

@kk

I think if United knew those cops would have ended that guy's face on the plane, they would have just asked the next person on the list. United corporate is once again the victim of bad luck when others were at fault. The biggest goats in this deal are the two cops, the one who slammed and drug the dude got suspended. The gate agent/supervisor made several mistakes. They should have done their randomized list before the plane was boarded.

Also I know this guy has been exposed as a past crap head but do we know if he's actually a doctor or was he just bullshitting to be difficult. What kind of doctor flies United Economy? Economy Plus costs like $30 more dollars.

A doctor who lost his license for 10 years and now is only allowed to practice medicine 1 day a week.

this thing could have maybe been handled better. I'll still fly united as much as I would otherwise though.

airlines are right up there with the DMV on the list of things people love to get pissed off at. overall they (including united) do a bang up job of shuttling shitloads of people everywhere all day in relative comfort.

the dude who wouldn't get off the plane isn't taking enough heat imo. I mean, it's bad that the police beat his ass but he should have just followed the rules and gotten off the damn plane. plenty of time to file a complaint/lawsuit or do whatever are within his rights to do afterwords.

well then, no doubt they were just frothing at the mouth for the chance to physically assault someone with cause. rookie airport cops call this "getting your meat wet"

united has to stand by the actions of their outsourced partner, republic, who mumped up by overboarding the flight and then mumped up again when they wouldn't offer up enough incentive to get 4 people off of the plane to fix their original eff up.

hard to blame the muscle head idiot cops for being muscle head idiot cops, it's who they are and what they do.  but they didn't instigate the issue, republic did

the 1 day a week porn doctor should have gotten off of the plane but he is also a victim of republic/united's incompetence and i don't feel sorry for united losing almost a billion in market cap yesterday after their leadership failed to acknowledge their mistake.
