Then you don't need recommendations. Empire State Building. Rockefeller center. Statue of liberty. Central park. That should fill up 2 days.

The only time I did NYC, emawgeddon hosted me, and we had a good time. We walked all the way from central park to where the twin towers were in a day and then crushed some brews.  :D Our hotel room was the size of a thimble.

Had my first legal drink in NYC. A long island at an Italian restaurant.

Looks like we'll be staying near Central Park. We'll do the usual tourist thing. Early ferry to Staten Island. Make our way back through the city.

I suppose I really need dining recommendations. Lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. I'll let the kids pick the show they want to see. I'm just along to pay the bills. :)

I had a good time in LALA land last week. Went to Santa Monica pier, hiked in Malibu and had lunch, went to a concert at the forum (Flogging molly on st pats), went to Hollywood, and we were going to do sur, but too much partying. I fell asleep in the uber, left my phone, and it took all day Sunday to recover it.  Good times.

Man, I'd love to do that. This is a tie-in with a trip to DC. Maybe we can shorten DC. So much to do in both places.

Some will argue on here with this statement, but you have to go to Pershing Square to eat. It's my favorite place to eat in NYC...decent food, great location and the restaurant is pretty cool inside. Plus, it's right off the 6 train at Grand Central.
