The wife and I are going overseas in a couple weeks and we transfer through Moscow. Anyone flown through there? My two basic goals at this point is to pick up a hammer/sickle fur hat and try to not get murdered.

I know a guy that can get you one of those fur hats for cheap.  It wouldn't be sable, but the difference is negligible.

  Go on...
I would wear one with the Pakhead on it.

I have to spend some Avios quick or I will @Johnnywichita over 130K Avios.  A quick trip to Chicago on my available weekends are out do to no seats. Flying to Dallas seems stupid but is easily doable on flight options. What is there to do in the LA of the midwest 9/30 - 10/2? I am super close to just flying Trim to Vancouver to go eat at the Korea BBQ place.

you can book hotels with them and stuff. they're actually not as terrible a redemption as doing so with other programs. not great, but you can get some value out of it if they're going to expire.

just buy 1k miles and it will extend them for another three years. also, why in the world do you still have all those? they're basically AA miles. fly you and ms gooch to belize or st martin or cabo or something.

I've tried to use them several times and it never worked out. Luckily we were rich AF with other miles and stuff. :kstategrad:

you can always just sell them to me and i'll take over your account. it is a burden that I'm happy to help with.

if he set it up as a family account that won't work though. BA is kinda unique in that they let you pool all household members points. It's great for small amount of leftovers in one account that can be used by another. BUT, you can't book travel for people outside of the household. I think you can switch back like once a year though.

they have 138k miles that they haven't been able to find a way to use for three years and you think they somehow managed to set up a family account?
