as an occasional flier, I'm amazed at how many suitcase warriors love the MD80s.

I have one of those fur hats, genuine.  Wore it to that Oklahoma game a few years ago where it was unbearably cold.  Except it was bearable because of my hat.  Anyway go cats.

The wife and I are going overseas in a couple weeks and we transfer through Moscow. Anyone flown through there? My two basic goals at this point is to pick up a hammer/sickle fur hat and try to not get murdered.

at the airport?

and what a strange connection unless you're going to Siberia or something.

he knows there is no pro tips for fur hat shopping at the moscow airport on gE.c, it's just a fanningbrag. i mean it's a pretty good one but still.

Separately, a guy walked in who was built like a tank. Like he must have been 6’6? and 280lbs, and he walked in with a girl who was maybe 5’2?, 100lbs, and a third his age. He sat down at a table, and then motioned (as if communicating with a dog) for her to sit somewhere else. The place she sat was basically across from us. He had a big meal, while she sat facing away from him. She just sat there on her phone for about an hour waiting for him to finish his meal, with her thong hanging out…

Do you have a visa for russia? It's a massive pain in the ass and expensive.

I was in Moscow in April. In and out of domodedovo. Security/Customs in Ukraine/Belarus/Russia can be insane. If you don't have a Visa they aren't letting you out of the security area. Some of the shops in the airport accept USD but the exchange rate is bad.

Overall moscow is pretty shitty and not near as fun/safe as eastern europe.

Laughable at best...definitely over 6' but under 280lbs.

Luckily, we're just transferring through there so unless all hell breaks loose, we won't be leaving the airport/secure areas.

like, don't bother pretending you think you might die at one of the big Moscow airports during a layover. It's insulting to everyone, yourself included.

I know a guy that can get you one of those fur hats for cheap.  It wouldn't be sable, but the difference is negligible.
