Separately, a guy walked in who was built like a tank. Like he must have been 6’6? and 280lbs, and he walked in with a girl who was maybe 5’2?, 100lbs, and a third his age. He sat down at a table, and then motioned (as if communicating with a dog) for her to sit somewhere else. The place she sat was basically across from us. Do you have a visa for russia? It's a massive pain in the ass and expensive.

I was in Moscow in April. In and out of domodedovo. Security/Customs in Ukraine/Belarus/Russia can be insane. If you don't have a Visa they aren't letting you out of the security area. Some of the shops in the airport accept USD but the exchange rate is bad.

Overall moscow is pretty shitty and not near as fun/safe as eastern europe.

Luckily, we're just transferring through there so unless all hell breaks loose, we won't be leaving the airport/secure areas.

I know a guy that can get you one of those fur hats for cheap.  It wouldn't be sable, but the difference is negligible.
