I guess, I don't hang out with women specifically.  I can't say I have one female friend in my life that I make plans to do anything with ever.

Your request is pretty weird, WM. And you come off as a real jerk (Mrs. T as well).

Go with Mrs. Gooch's option 2 or don't make special plans to hang out with any of them at all.

I would say WM's request was valid if the guy was like a big racist POS or something (but why would you want to hang out with someone who is willing to marry a racist POS).

Also why would you describe a racist POS as "zzz" and not as a "racist piece of crap"

Well I probably wouldn't but I gave option 1 just in case WM just didn't want to go into the specifics of why he really hates the guy. Maybe there's some other valid reason besides racist POS.  :dunno:

I guess.  Very few women are engineers, almost none in fraternities, very few fish or hunt do outdoors'y things on their own, work in a male dominated industry.  Family is an exception, I hang out with a lot of women family members.  But not without my wife.  At my last job had a good female colleague friend but I don't see her anymore.  IMO it's hard enough finding good dude friends, women are like a whole order of magnitude more difficult.

Most guys who have a bunch of female friends, initially wanted to bang them, are in the friend zone, and are still single fwiw. That games changes when you get in a serious relationship.  :th_twocents:

I hung out with a female friend on Saturday. I've known her since 3rd grade and while she is attractive, not once have I ever wanted to tap or date her. My feelings for her are the exact same as with male friends.

I can understand how this would be tough to understand if you think of women only as sex receptacles  :th_twocents:

If you were dating someone or in a marriage, you would barely see her, lib^7. I had a lot of close "girlfriends" as well. You might have a problem if you've never thought of a close female friend, who's attractive, in a romantic way. It's rough ridin' #science

Also, lol at saying that I only look at girls as sex objects. Coming from the guy who IRL told me "I have a thing for black chicks!" Is that all they are to you, lib?! :curse:

I know several as well, but between my last job and this job, a pool of probably 60ish or so engineers, there is exactly 1 female.  Not a good ratio.  Probably biased hiring practices even.

One time this girl wanted me to take her fishing, like float down the river and camp and all that.  I said no.  She seemed fine, but she was attractive, and I got the feeling she was only trying to get into fishing to find a dude.
