Well, my boss is going with so that's probably the biggest reason I'm dreading it.  He wanted me to book the same flight as him so we could share a rental car.  He booked a flight that had a 2 hour layover in Chicago and got him to the Cinci airport at 11:30 p.m.  I booked a direct flight that lands at 6 p.m. I told him I'd take an Uber to the hotel and pay for it myself.

Yeah, my company booked a flight for me that went from KC to Charlotte back to Louisville, because it was $50 cheaper than the direct flight. I was really annoyed.

I like Covington. Decent restaurants and bars along Main St. We usually crush a few craft brews at crock and Bull. Newport has some good craft brew joints too. You can always cross the bridge and you have plenty more choices in Cinci. Jeff Ruby's is a fantastic choice. I think Wacky ate at the Louisville location this weekend.


Edit: Forgot about Moerlein Lager House. Decent food. Fantastic beer choices. It's adjacent to Great American Ball Park.
