I have family there and that is the one thing that I remember the most. It may have been childhood wonder though.

there are almost no mosquitos in HI to begin with. good grief, stay locked in your room the rest of your life.

there are surprisingly almost no flying insects in HI or at least bothersome ones. everything is open air. hotel lobbies, restaurants, stores, etc. I don't recall ever noticing a bug.

Keeneland if you are here in April. It's nice to drive around the surrounding countryside to see the horse farms and the SdK castle. Otherwise, meh.
