i would like wc08 quite a bit more if he took his dog with him on vacation.

8man, i can't believe we tend to group together politically, clearly an important axis has been ignored.  your views on dogs are anathema to me.

Sys, I love dogs. I do, however, think it is unbelievably selfish that so many people feel the need to bring their pup on flights. Especially in a time where if the dog poops on the plane, they will divert the plane to a different destination.

My position is not anti-dog, it's anti-selfish person

your position is inherently anti-dog.  bringing a dog is no more selfish than someone bringing themselves, bringing a child, bringing an overhead bag or bringing a laptop.

i mean, who the eff are you to judge whether someone else's reasons for traveling with a dog are acceptable?  the arrogance of you, my god.

I was on a plane one time and like some zoo keeper people had little baby snow leopards and walked them up and down the isle and let people pet them. I'm pro jack hannah bringing exotic beasts onto my planes.

baby exotic beasts, maybe. i don't want to get mauled by an adult simba the next time i get on a flight to head to an exotic binge fest. baby simba would be alright, though. maybe even teenage simba.

this was a SW flight iirc so I can't even imagine a full grown lion waiting in the cattle call line for its turn to board anyway

maybe this last week of combofanning could be saved by a thread about which exotic beasts you would be willing to board a flight with.

consider all scenarios to be two-part.

trip 1: baby, no cage.

trip 2: adult, no cage.

what animals do you think you could kill with your bare hands if you were alone with them in the cabin of a 737 at 35000ft?

No to both. Yes only if it is a baby in a cage and guaranteed not to poop on the flight.
