If steve dave lived in North Korea he would live in that giant unused hotel all by himself.

Yes.  Yes.  Although the awesomeness will vary based on where you fly.  I whiz by the long line of lowly commoners at my home base with shoes on and laptop/liquids in my bag.  Where I normally fly to there are never lines and often no precheck lane, so no benefit.

Is it even worth going to NYC for 2-3 days in the summer if you have never been before, or would it be better to wait a yr, take a week, and go in late spring?

NYC is like the perfect weekend visit. 2-3 days will be great.

It's the absolute worst. I can't think of a worse one, or even a contender to give LGA a run for its money.

Unfortunately there are like 4x as many flights from ORD to LGA than JFK, and they are cheaper, so work travel means I get a lovely visit to LGA once a month.

If LGA was a house and I was its realtor, I would start off the listing like this: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Lots of character in this little apple charmer. Features include original runways and cozy hallways! 4 terminals, 8 1/2 baths.

Ever tried getting from LGA to Lower Manhattan at rush hour? :frown:
