the one time I flew AA to MHK from DFW we flew out of terminal D.  it was a great.  a little American Eagle jet next to all these 747s and A380s that are like going to Tokyo and crap.

the last time i flew dfw back into mhk there was a thunderstorm going through and skylink was shut down. shut down! i had to run (run) from d to b or something ridiculous. it was probably around two miles. my legs hurt for at least a day.

Omg, no skylink would bring me to my knees.

perhaps the craziest part of the story is that flights could leave on time and skylink could not

my wife took it from the mid cities station over to connect with the DART and on to work from there for a while.  the TRE is a big huge double decker that goes like 70 mph and has pretty limited stops.  get you from Dallas to Ft Worth pretty fast.  the TRE itself is great but the transfers over to DART suck, they're timed badly.  once my wife was riding on it and they hit a guy in a truck and he died.  that's what I know.

we (gE mods and buds) researched them for our chicago meeting. some of the all you can eat/drink ones seemed like a good deal if you can commit yourself to staying there the entire time and maximizing your booze/food intake. we are a wandering bunch though so we just ended up sitting in GA and then moving to better seats later in the game. I have just the one data point but the wrigley security makes kauffman stadium seem like Alcatraz by comparison.

this would be for a bachelor party of 20 bros, so I'm sure we can make it worth our while.

Wausau Wisconsin. Not even going to look up if there is a trip report. They have a Texas Roadhouse. Will report back more after I enjoy the town this week. Airport has 5 gates. One cool thing I'll take a pic of when leaving

So you're saying there's a plant here I need to visit?

Their local news girl was pretty good looking. Not good at her job though.

On another note. I never watch the news at home but generally enjoy watching the local news when I'm in hotels. Not sure why other than it makes me feel like I am experiencing and learning the place more. Anyone else do this?
