 Didn't even think about it.  So don't go there today.

And great movie, but I haven't seen it in forever so probably would have missed that to.

I can't read all 184 pages...
I'm looking for a good Caribbean/Mexican destination for a 3-5 night long weekend getaway this August.  We are hoping to do very little outside of snorkel.  Not interested in least in Cancun or a all inclusive resort. Antigua, St. Martin, Caymans are in consideration now, with the likelihood of hooking up a condo through vrbo.

Open to suggestions.

If you are seriously taking a 5 day trip to dog paddle around underwater just go to ozarks.

I'm not a redneck, so Ozarks are out of the question.

August, kind of an anniversary thing.

an all-inclusive seems perfect if you don't want to do anything but also think you're above going to lake of the Ozarks

JFC, I guess I didn't mention that these trip ideas are really for my knocked up Canadian friend...

more of a anniversary/last opportunity (for a few years) to take a parents only trip before kid #2 comes. Neither are big drinkers (and one can't), and both are typically pretty adventurous, however with one being 5 mo preg, super adventurous options are limited.  They would never normally do a all-inclusive gig, because that is just not appealing to them.

Have passports and money, will travel.  They could do, and probably will someday w/kids, a trip to LoOz.

At least in August the Caribbean will be pretty cheap.  In the Bahamas though a lot of places will be closed because it's the off-season.  I like the Bahamas myself because it's cheap and safe and they speak English, but I only go to the Caribbean to fish so my criteria is different than yours.  I'm gonna :users: this thread.
