washington dc and one free afternoon. what should i do?

What have you seen? I'd go to The Mall and pick up a map. Vietnam Memorial is my favorite memorial thing, and all the museums McKee mentioned are right there. The American History Museum has some pretty amazing stuff like the actual Star Spangled Banner and the hat Lincoln was wearing when he got shot.

i've been once before but didn't see anything. just sat in my bethesda hotel for two days. this time i'm just a few blocks north of the white house and figured what the heck i should actually go walk around and see stuff.

Well the mall has tons of tourists but it's fantastic to see at least once.

well after 19 hours plus of flying we made it today at 12 O'Clock High. The flight wasn't that bad I will tell you guys one thing for certain. Qantas airlines is simply great! Their service was way beyond my expectations.I don't know what time or what day it is in Kansas but it's Wednesday here. have not been able to get out and see any potential recruits yet. I know I know slackers City but I'm catching my breath this afternoon and will be continuing my search tomorrow.6/4 3:00 AM | IP: Logged

Too nice. That part of DEN looks like a construction site office.

Ms. Wacky is trying to plan this "surprise" for my 30th this September, but we'd actually do it in August. She wants to take me to Avery brewery and cabin it for 4 days.
