getting to the airport for a flight at 7 finding out it has been overbooked and not being able to catch another flight till 3 is the worst thing in the history of my life(currently happening btw)

yeah I live in topeka. Didn't want the wife to make that trip 6 times in a few weeks span. I'm not like going to kill myself or anything just a shitty day now

at first I was like, wow what a random number, then I realized that $58 divided by an 8 hour delay is $7.25, so it appears delta believes your time is worth minimum wage

Yep, he probably shouldn't have agreed to this. Did you check in late or something, slim? I love volunteering to give up my seat w/ a good offer, ESPECIALLY on company time.

I can't imagine a worse idea than drinking a bunch, eating in-a-tub, then getting on an airplane unless your actual assigned seat is in the men's room.
