I'm just saying, those TVs had USB chargers in them

don't let rusty make fun of you. he used to refer to 737s as wide-bodys. he thinks he's fancy because he flys on 787s all over asia all the time.

crazy that he follows me around riding in domestic olathe apartments while he has dreamliners at his every beck and call

ordered one of these a couple days ago

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004AB4YWA/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_M3T1_ST1_dp_1

I like how it rides on top of your carry on. My backpack has the chest strap deal that I make as tight as it can go and strap it to the top of my carry on like that. Lucky/Ben (of stud travel blog onemileatatime) hangs his extra bag off the back of his all weird to keep it balanced and it actually works really well.

interesting. i can see my setup potentially being top heavy. also not sure how easy it is to slide the top bag on and off the carry on, but we'll see.

btw, should be informed of my work travel location(s) in the next week or so, at which point i will be circling back around for flight/hotel pro tips. maybe in the credit card thread.

Anyone here go to NW Arkansas in the summer time? We're going to Devils Den (20 miles south of fayetville) next weekend to hike and fish.

Will be going to Beaver Lake just north of Fayetteville in July. It's a beautiful area and the water is crystal clear.

Used to go there every summer as a kid so Stevesie60 Dad could scuba dive. Lots of fun cliffs to jump off of. Then they outlawed drinking on the lake because they had a bunch of alcohol related deaths so Stevesie60 'rents decided it was fun to go anymore. Don't know if this rule is still in effect or not.

there are some BA caves down there

So I guess now we're thinking we might want to go somewhere we haven't been in June instead of New York.
Any suggestions on where we could go using our BA and UR points?

I think I want to go to Detroit, rent a car and just drive around and look at all the abandoned buildings, like bordain did, I mean it's like a once in a lifetime thing to be able to see a city deserted, like going to an old west gold rush town

St Marie, MT, which is the old military housing (mostly duplexes) for an air force base outside of Glascow, MT, is creepy AF.  Would be perfect setting for zombie movie.

Spirit coming to MCI. Only upside to that is price pressure on WN on directs to Vegas. Currently showing 220 direct vs WN normal 380. Of course one flight a day and horrible times doesn't come close to making it worth it

Did you guys ever do like a "last no kids vacation" when your wife was 4 or 5 months pregnant?  Any recommendos?  It'll be this summer, and normally we'd do some backpacking and/or hiking and then swing in to a major metro for a night.  But that's off the table.  Beach trip?

Why does that have to be the last time you vacation without kids?
